magazine contents process

For my contents page I used the rectangle frame tool to plan out where I wanted the images on my front cover. I used the rectangle tool and filled it in white to create a column for where I would place the contents. I also used the rectangle tool to create the background for my sub headings. I placed the images I decided to use on my contents page and added captions next to them. I coloured the page numbers in red to make them stand out more to the reader.

Here was the contents page when I started it. The contents title was on the right side of the page and was a lot smaller. Also I used a different font. The background behind the subheadings were all different widths too so they were not consistent. I didn't add social media icons and other pictures to the contents page here.

Here I places the title at the centre of the page and made it bigger. I also changed the portrait picture of one of the artist into a landscape picture so it looked connected to the content and not too random. I changed the font of the text to make the text font consistent throughout the whole magazine. I filled in white space by adding social media icons and quotes from an article. I also added a few more contents to make it look like my magazine had a lot. I changed the page number in the captions to a red colour to make it stand out more.
